Spring Run, Pa.: If you’re waiting for Jeremy Ott to slow down, you’re going to have to wait a while longer. For the second consecutive week, Ott maneuvered his car to the front to claim The Pizza Shop of Etters Central PA Legends sponsored by MJR Equipment victory.
Of course Ott’s win didn’t come without some obstacles. Polesitter, Travis Perry, led the majority of the 20-lap feature but received heavy pressure from Ott, Mason Chaney and DJ Elzey with only a handful of laps remaining.
While racing for the lead, Chaney checked up when another car stopped on the track with Perry and Ott choosing to take the low side. Unfortunately for Chaney, he collided with the stopped car and was unable to continue.
Ott made the pass for the lead with only a few laps remaining and although Perry and Jeremy Hahn didn’t give him a lot of breathing room, Ott was able to cross the line first, claiming his fifth career Central PA Legends victory at Path Valley Speedway Park.
Perry, Hahn, Chandler Pagnotta and Seth Kearchner completed the top five.
Alex Schmiedel, Pagnotta and Chaney were heat race winners for the 26 Legends.
